About Laos

I was in Laos March 22nd to 29th.
ラオスには3月(がつ)の22日(にち)から29日(にち)まで居(い)ました。

 I heardLaos is peaceful country so you can stay there quietly.
ラオスはのどかな国(くに)なので、ゆったり過(す)ごせると聞(き)いたことがあります。

I also felt that Laos is peaceful, but it was a little too peaceful so I was a little bored there.
私(わたし)もラオスはのどかだと感(かん)じました、でも、本当(ほんとう)にのどかだったので、私(わたし)には少(すこ)し退屈(たいくつ)でした。
However, there are a lot of Westerners in Laos.
でも、たくさんの欧米人(おうべいじん)が居(い)ました。
Especially French people. I think it must be because of Laos used to be a French colony.
特(とく)に、フランス人(じん)です。ラオスは昔(むかし)フランスの植民地(しょくみんち)だったからだと思(おも)います。
So Laos may be well known by Westerners.
だから、欧米人(おうべいじん)にはラオスは有名(ゆうめい)なのかもしれません。

Anyway, I visited the border of Thailand and Laos, Huai-Xay, Luang Phabang and the capital of Laos, Vientiane.

タイとラオス国境(こっきょう)のファイサーイ,ルアンパバーン,首都(しゅと)のビエンチャンに行(い)きました。

I wanted go to the southern part of Laos, but I didn't go there this time.
ラオスの南部(なんぶ)にも行(い)きたかったけど、今回(こんかい)は止(や)めました。
Laos was a French colony so you can eat delicious bread there and it's also cheap, about 10000 Kip(100yen).
ラオスは昔(むかし)フランスの植民地(しょくみんち)だったので、おいしいパンが食(た)べれます。
また、安いです。10000kip=約(やく)100円(えん)です。

This is Patuxay in the capital of Vientiane. It looks like the Triumphal arch in Paris.
首都(しゅと)ビエンチャンの"パトゥーサイ"はパリの凱旋門(がいせ​んもん)のようです。

It's the most famous spot in Vientiane.
ビエンチャンで1番(ばん)有名(ゆうめい)なスポットです。


In conclusion, I'm not fit in Laos.
結果(けっか)として、私(わたし)はラオスにはまりませんでした。

Things are a little expensive compared to its neighboring countries.
コストが近隣諸国(きんりんしょこく)に比(くら)べて、少(すこ)し高(たか)いです。
Accomodation fees, food and so on.
宿代(やどだい)やご飯(はん)などなど。

There is really Japanese quality accommodation which costs 35000Kip about 350 Japanese yen.

Therefore, I left there before 15 days.

だから、15日間(にちかん)の前(まえ)にラオスを離(はな)れました。
For Japanese people, we can stay there up to 15 days without a visa.
日本人(にほんじん)の場合(ばあい)、ノービザでラオスに15日間(にちかん)まで居(い)れます。
Well, I will go there again someday.
まあ、ラオスには、また来(き)ます。

About Thailand

Thailand is a fun country.タイは楽(たの)しい国(くに)ですよ。

There are a night markets, a lot of food stalls, and the food is delicious and cheap.
ナイトマーケットもあるし、屋台(やたい)がたくさんあって、ご飯(はん)も安(やす)くて、美味(おい)しいし。
But, it is sometimes spicy. lol

でも、たまに辛(から)いのもあるけど。

I went to Bangkok, Chiangmai, Chiangrai, Golden Triangle and Mae-Sai.
バンコク,チェンマイ,チェンライ,ゴールデン・トライアングル,メーサイに行(い)きました。

Bangkok is really a metropolis.
バンコクはすごく都会(とかい)です。
There are a lot of foreigners, it's like a strange city.
外国人(がいこくじん)もたくさんいて、変(か)わった街(まち)です。

Chiangmai's night bazaar is really energetic.
チェンマイのナイトバザールは、すごく盛(も)り上(あ)がっています。

Chiangrai has a peaceful landscape so it's a good place.
チェンライは長閑(のどか)でいいところです。

In Thailand it is really easy to travel.
タイはすごく旅(たび)がしやすいですね。


Bus fare is really cheap so you can go anywhere.
バスが安(やす)いので、色(いろ)んなところに行(い)けますよ。
If I come to Thailand again, I'd like to go to a minority tribal village.
今度(こんど)、タイに来(き)たときは、少数民族(しょうすうみんぞく)の村(むら)に行(い)きたいです。

Actually, I may go there again next month.
まあ、来月(らいげつ)また、行(い)くかもしれませんが。
