2012年10月にウズベキスタンのサマルカンドにいたときのことです。

This post is when I was in Samarkand, Uzbekistan on October, 2012.

サマルカンドは "青の都" と言われるだけあって青いです。この日は天気も良かったので、より青く感じました。
Be told from someone that Samarkand is "the city of blue"  so I also thought about that there're a lot of blue in the town. It was good weather then, I felt that is more blue than usual.
Btw, I took really good pictures, that may sound like blowing my own horn. lol

Registan in Samarkand, Uzbekistan

2012年10月にウズベキスタンのサマルカンドにいたときのことです。

This post is when I was in Samarkand, Uzbekistan on October, 2012.

入場料は13300UZS(≒4.9USD)でした。
ところで、サマルカンドの各観光地の入場料は不明瞭なことが多く、人によって値段が違う?!と聞きました。
Entrance fee is 13300UZS(≒4.9USD).
For your information, I think entrance fee of the Samarkand's each sightseeing spot is obscure and I heard the price is difference of people.

※1USD 2700UZSで計算。
※I converted 1USD into 2700UZS.

Registan and its three madrasahs.
From left to right, Ulugbek Medressa, Tilla-Kari Medressa and Sher Dor Medressa.

"レギスタン" とは、ペルシャ語で "砂地" という意味らしいです。
The name of "Registan" means "Sandy place" in Persian.

Decorated with roaring felines that look like tigers but meant to be lions.

サマルカンドの建造物群は"サマルカンド文化交差路"として世界遺産に登録されています。
The complex of historical center of the town has been listed by world heritage of UNESCO under the name "Samarkand is an intersection of world culture".

Samarkand, Uzbekistan's Accommodation

多分、サマルカンドで1番有名な宿。旅人なら聞いたことがあると思います。
I think this is the most famous accommodation in Samarkand, If you are backpacker I think you heard about that before.

夕食が3USDで食べられます。
Wifiはない。
情報ノート有り
宿のみなさん親切。

Single Room About 10USD per night.
Inside the toilet and shower room.
You can negotiate the price with them, If you stay several nights can get discount price.
Domitory is only in summer?!
Including breakfast
Want to eat dinner, you can eat it for 3USD.
They don't have free-wifi.
They have japanese travel information notebook
They're very kind to us.

ん～、正直に言えば宿の人の感じは良いけど、設備が必ずしも良くはなかった。10月は寒かったのに、シャワーは冷たかったし、wifiは無いし...

バハディール周辺には、ほかにも安い宿があります。次にサマルカンドへ行ったときは他のとこに泊まるかも。

To be honest, worker in here is really kind to us, on the other hand, facilities are NOT quite so good because of shower is not hot when I visited there on October that time is getting cold, and they don't have wifi connection.
Around Bahodir there are some of low price guesthouse. If I go to Samarkand again someday, I may stay other accommodation.
